Karbonn Platinum P9, the company’s first smartphone in the Platinum series is available from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 6-inch qHD display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android 5.0 Lollipop update starts rolling out in India
Samsung has started rolling out Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update for the Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900) smartphone in India. It rolled out Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the smartphone back in January last year. Samsung started rolling out Lollipop update for Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 users in some regions last month. The Galaxy S4 got the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update in India last month. Apple iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 5S price increase by up to Rs. 2500 in India
Apple has increased the price of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the iPhone 5S smartphones in India. The increase price could be the result of increase in excise duty on mobile phones imported into India, which was increased to 12.5% from existing 6% in the recent Union Budget.
