Letv introduced its Le 1s smartphone at an event in China last at a competitive price tag of 1099 Chinese Yuan ( US$ 172 / Rs. 11240 approx.). Today the company has announced that the company has made over US$2 billion in the week after launch event. Letv  Le 1s pre-orders have crossed more than 11 million units amounting to 12.1 billion Yuan (US$1.91 billion). The smartphone goes on sale in China starting from today. It packs a 5-inch FWVGA display, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735M 64-bit processor, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera. HTC Desire 828 dual sim with 5.5-inch 1080p display, 13MP camera with OIS official

HTC has introduced the Desire 828 dual sim, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Desire series in China, after it got certified by TENAA back in August. It is the successor of Desire 826 dual sim that was launched in India recently. It packs a similar 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and has an Ultrapixel front-facing camera, but this is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753, instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor in the Desire 826. Huawei Honor smartphones now available from Snapdeal in India

Huawei has partnered with Snapdeal to expand it’s online presence, so their smartphones are not exclusive to Flipkart anymore. Initially, three of the honor phones – Honor Bee, Honor 4X and Honor 3C will be made available on the online shopping portal, said the company. Motorola expanded its online presence in India recently by launched the Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) 3G and Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G versions on Amazon India and Snapdeal, after launching them exclusively on Flipkart. Reliance Communications to acquire Sistema’s MTS

Reliance Communications (RCOM) today announced that it will acquire Sistema’s Indian wireless business, carried on by Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd. (SSTL) under the MTS brand funded entirely by stock. It will acquire approx. 9 million customers and approximately Rs. 1,500 crore of annual revenues by virtue of the transaction, said the company. Samsung has sent invites for the launch of new smartphones at an event in Delhi tomorrow, November 3rd. According to its recent teaser, these are likely to be Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 smartphone in the new On series that went official in China recently. The Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On5 smartphones have 5-inch and 5.5-inch HD displays, respectively. These run on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), pack 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with expansion slot, 4G LTE connectivity and dual SIM support.
