Google rolled out Android 6.0 update for Nexus devices last week. At the Honor 7 India launch last week, Huawei promised to roll out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the smartphone in beta in January and said that stable update will arrive in February 2016. Now Huawei has confirmed (Via) Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for other smartphones and tablets as well.

Huawei said that it will start working on the update from November, so we can expect the roll out early next year. This list is only for China, so list of international devices that would get the update might vary. HTC, Motorola and Sony already promised to offer Android Marshmallow update for some of its devices. LG recently confirmed that it will roll out the Android 6.0 update for its flagship LG G4 smartphone from next week starting from Poland. Samsung is yet to officially confirm the list of devices that would get the Android 6.0 update.
