Microsoft has announced earnings for Q2 2016 where it reported $25.7 billion in revenue and $6.3 billion in net income. It looks like Surface is finally doing the job for Microsoft, as it recorded $1.35 billion in revenue, up from $672 million in previous quarter and up from $1.1 billion year-over-year.

Apple has issued a voluntary recall for some international two-prong AC wall adapters designed for use in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Continental Europe, New Zealand and South Korea. The company has taken this action over a rare risk of adapters breaking and causing an electric shock.

OnePlus introduced its flagship OnePlus 2 smartphone back in July last year. The 64GB variant with 4GB of RAM went on sale in August for Rs. 24,999, and the company said that the 16GB variant with 3GB of RAM will be available in late 2015, but it didn’t happen. Now it has finally launched the 16GB variant in India. Apart from storage and RAM, other specifications are similar, including a 5.5-inch 1080 pixelsp display, Snapdragon 810 processor, Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), fingerprint scanner, 13-megapixel rear camera with Laser Auto focus, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Just like Samsung has Samsung Pay, LG is also hard at work to bring their own payment service which will be called LG Pay. While the name certainly doesn’t stand out, the way in which it works might. Apparently, users will need a separate device called as White Card in order to use the service.

Samsung has reported its earnings for Q4 2015, in which the company has made operating profit of 6.14 trillion won ($4.4 billion) for the quarter that ended December 31, 2015. It reported revenues of 53.32 trillion won ($50.8 billion) and net profit of 3.22 trillion won (US$ 2.7 billion), down 39.7% year-on-year. It reported 200.65 trillion won ($165.90 billion) in revenue and 26.41 trillion won ($21.84 billion) in operating profits for the whole 2015.
