In less than couple of months of launching its first alpha version of the Remix OS 2.0, Jide Technology has released the first Beta version of the Remix OS 2.0 for PCs, as it had promised last week. It has 32-bit system support for older PCs and dual-boot support through a new UEFI Boot hard drive installer tool. Micromax CEO Vineet Taneja officially resigns

Micromax CEO Vineet Taneja has officially resigned from the company following a report in January earlier this year. Taneja had joined Micromax in June 2014 from Samsung India where he served as country Head for IT & Mobile businesses. Prior to Micromax and Samsung, he had previously served in Bharti Airtel, Nokia India (between January 2008 to April 2010) and Hindustan Lever.

It comes in two variants, one with 6GB of RAM and Snapdragon 820 SoC, while the other variant has 4GB of RAM and Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 SoC. Other specifications are similar, including a 5.43-inch dual curved edge Quad HD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla glass protection, 16-megapixel rear camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) for focus speed of just 0.1 seconds and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
