Samsung has finally introduced the Galaxy J1 2016, successor of last year’s Galaxy J1 in Dubai, reports GSMArena. The phone is already on display in Jumbo electronics showroom, who is a retailer in UAE. It packs a 4.5-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Google has just release v9.19 of its Maps application for Android devices and it brings in a host of new features and improvements including a driving mode and audio toggle for navigation among other things.
Back in July 2014 Facebook introduced Mentions, a new app for iOS for celebrities and public figures with verified profiles to talk to their followers. Later it was expanded to India and 40 other countries. Now it has launched the app for Android. The app has Live stream feature so that musicians, athletes, actors, journalists and other celebrities can share live video with their fans. Manu Kumar Jain, Head of Mi India earlier today tweeted a teaser with the caption Mi Generation T-24 hours to lift off and said “An exciting announcement will happen tomorrow.
