Xiaomi has launched Redmi 3S+, a new variant of the Redmi 3S that will be available exclusively offline. Expect 3GB of RAM on the Redmi 3S Prime, this has 2GB of RAM, other specifications are similar, including a 5-inch HD display, Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 SoC, 6.0 (Marshmallow), 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 4100mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 3S smartphone in India, as it had promised. It packs a 5-inch HD display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 SoC, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with MIUI 7 on top, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quick focus of just 0.1 second and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Xiaomi just announced Redmi 3s a variant of the Redmi 3 in China. It has a 5-inch HD screen, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quick focus of just 0.1 second and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Redmi 3, but this has is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 SoC and comes in 2GB of RAM with 16GB storage or 3GB of RAM with 32GB storage variants. Xiaomi Redmi 3 variants with Snapdragon 415, fingerprint sensor, metal body get certified

Xiaomi Redmi 3 was announced in January earlier this year and the Redmi 3 Pro with 3GB RAM was introduced in March. Now three variants of the Redmi 3 phone with 32GB storage have been certified by TENAA, few days after a similar variant of the phone with 16GB storage in golden color got certified by TENAA. These have almost similar specifications as the Redmi 3 and also includes a fingerprint sensor on the back.
