It has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS on-cell display, is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Google Play Services will stop supporting Android Gingerbread and Honeycomb in early 2017

Google has announced that is is discontinuing support for Gingerbread and Honeycomb in Google Play services. Version 10.0.0 of the Google Play services client libraries, as well as the Firebase client libraries for Android, will be the last version of these libraries that support Android API level 9 (Android 2.3, Gingerbread).

HTC just announced HTC 10 evo, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘HTC 10’ series in Taiwan and UK, as expected. It is also the global version of the HTC Bolt that was introduced for U.S. carrier Sprint earlier this month. It doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack and comes with HTC BoomSound Adaptive Audio, which scans your ears and the ambient noise around you to adjust audio output to suit your personal hearing capabilities. It also has Hi-Res audio that delivers 24-bit audio.

66% of phones in Q3 2016 were Made in India: CMR

India shipped 197.5 million mobile handsets, of which 78.4 million were alone shipped during the third quarter of the calendar year, according to CMR’s India Monthly Mobile Handset Market Review Report for 3Q 2016 ending September 2016. The report revealed that 66% of the phones in Q3 were Made in India.

The LG V series is to the G series what the Galaxy Note series is to the Galaxy S series. However instead of being more of an upgrade or an updated version of the G series, the V series phones have an entirely different personality to themselves. The V10 in fact was without a doubt, one of the best smartphones of 2015. It borrowed many of the specifications and features from the G4 but it fixed almost everything that was wrong with the G4 and then bundled some more unique features into a fresh design. The V10 till this day remains one of the best smartphones on the market and the only real issue that people faced was being able to buy one.
