The Election Commission will launch a special drive to enrol new electors, and has collaborated with Facebook to launch a ‘voter registration reminder’ on July 1. With over 180 million people in India on Facebook, the ‘Register Now’ button is designed to encourage Indian citizens to register themselves with the Election Commission of India.

Alcatel has announced Idol 5S, A30 Plus and A50 smartphones in the U.S. The Idol 5S is a mid-range phone with a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 Mobile Platform and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat). Both the A30 Plus and A50 are powered by MediaTek SoCs, run Android 7.0 (Nougat) and come with a HD screen. UberEats food delivery service expands to Delhi-NCR
After Mumbai, Uber has expanded its food deliver service UberEATS to Delhi-NCR. The services will start in Gurugram first. The company has partnered with over 300 restaurants and claims to offer local restaurants a reliable delivery option. . Uber says that the reason it chose Gurugram is because of its high density office and residential complexes. The service will be available seven days a week.

E3170 is best suited for everyday printing and is compatible with ink efficient cartridges PG-47 and Cl-57s which provides low cost printing of upto 400 monochrome documents and 180 color documents,” said the company.

WannaCry like ransomware attack GoldenEye/Petya hits globally
Another massive ransomware attack it hitting across the globe including UK, US and Russia. Several companies confirmed so far to have fallen victim to GoldenEye/Petya ransomware. The attack makes use of the same vulnerability that allowed for the spread of the WannaCry ransomware in May. The Petya ransomware hijacks victims’ computers before encrypting their files and holding them hostage until a fee is paid.
