Samsung Galaxy C8 with 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, dual rear cameras announced
Samsung has announced Galaxy C8, which is the Chinese version of the Galaxy J7+ that went official recently. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a 2.39GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P20 SoC and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture to capture depth information. Xiaomi yesterday launched Mi A1, the company’s first Android One smartphone in partnership with Google priced at Rs. 14,999. It is the global variant of the Mi 5X that was introduced in China back in July, but this runs stocks Android. Check out the unboxing of the phone.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 launching in India on September 12
Samsung just sent out invites for the launch of its flagship Galaxy Note8 smartphone in India on September 12th, the same day as the Apple iPhone 8 event. The phone comes with a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Infinity Display and comes with 12-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture and telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom and OIS for both.
