Sharp last week introduced AQUOS R compact, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone for the 2017 winter lineup. It has a 4.9-inch (1080 x 2032 pixels) Full HD+ display with a 120hz refresh rate. It uses FFD (Free Form Display) technology to make small holes precisely in the screen for front camera and receiver. The fingerprint sensor that is present below the screen on a bezel. OPPO R11s with Snapdragon 660, 20MP front and rear cameras to be announced on November 2

OPPO today announced that it will introduce R11S, successor of R11 at an event in China on November 2nd. It has also confirmed that it will feature 20-megapixel front and rear cameras. The teaser image on the hand of its brand ambassadors confirms unibody metal design, dual rear cameras, which could be 16MP + 20MP combination like the R11 and a fingerprint sensor on the back. AnTuTu listing reveals more specifications of the phone. it looks like Samsung is currently working on a Dual Wireless Charging Pad something very similar to Apple’s AirPower that was introduced at the iPhone X event. Samsung has filed the patent and had got the approval by the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for this new Dual Wireless charging pad. Samsung last year introduced EP-PA710 Qi-based Wireless Charger Tray design that can charge 2 devices wirelessly at once.

Xiaomi smartphone with codename MET7/MEE7 showed up on TENAA yesterday showing the design of the phone with a full-screen 18:9 display, unibody metal design, camera bump and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Now the smartphone, which is expected to be Redmi Note 5 has been certified revealing complete specifications of the phone. It doesn’t reveal the processor, but it is rumored to be Snapdragon 630.

Google app teardown reveals references to Quartz, could be Google Home-like device with screen

Google has updated the app to version number V7.14.15 which has bought customization feature to the search bar widget but turns out that’s not the only thing the update had to bring with it. A little teardown of the app by Android Police revealed more information about the Quartz which is slated to the Google-Home like device with the built-in display just like the Amazon Echo show.
