Vodafone launches VoLTE services in Maharashtra and Goa, Rajasthan

Vodafone launched VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) services in India last month starting from Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Gujarat. Now it has launched VoLTE in Maharashtra and Goa, and Jaipur and Jodhpur in Rajasthan, which will soon expand in other cities of the state soon. Vodafone is calling it Super VoLTE and said that the technology delivers high-quality sound over voice calls across the Vodafone SuperNet 4G network so that users will experience ultra-clear voice quality and reduced background noise. Essential granted patent for smartphone with no-notch display, popup front camera

Vivo showcased the APEX concept phone with in-display fingerprint scanner, 98% screen-to-body ratio and most importantly an elevating front camera at the MWC 2018 event last week. The unique feature of the phone is the front-camera that seamlessly rises in 0.8 seconds when it is required and retracts after use. But it turns out, Andy Rubin of Essential was granted the patent for this solution to Essential Products, Inc in 2017. WhatsApp beta for Android with V2.18.69 has extended ‘delete for everyone’ duration from 7 minutes or 420 seconds to 4096 seconds which is about 68 minutes and 16 seconds or 1 hour, 8 minutes and 16 seconds. Along with this, WhatsApp has rolled out two more new beta updates to Android the V2.18.70 that brings fixes to GIF crashes and 2.18.71 adds changes to voice note sending icon in a chat window. LG X4 with 5.3-inch display, fingerprint sensor, HD DMB TV announced

After introducing X4+ earlier this year, LG has introduced X4 (LM-X410S) smartphone in the ‘X series’ in Korea. It packs a similar 5.3-inch HD screen, is powered by Snapdragon 425, but this runs Android 7.1 (Nougat), has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera.

Xiaomi introduced 43-inch and 49-inch 1080p, 55-inch and 65-inch 4K HDR TVs and the cheapest 32-inch smart TV in the Mi TV 4A series last year. In January it introduced a new 50-inch 4K HDR TV in the 4A. Today it has announced a new 40-inch Full HD TV in the series in China, ahead of the launch the Mi TV 4A series in India next week. The smartphone duo went on sale for the first time in India on 22nd February and company claims to have sold over 3 lakh units under 3 minutes followed by a 2nd sale on 28th February, but only Black and Gold variants were available in both sales.
