Andy Rubin, creator of Android and CEO of Essential just tweeted out a colorful glimpse into one of the most radically re-imagined compact smartphones we have ever seen. It’s long, it’s thin, there’s a huge camera at the back and also a fingerprint scanner. The guys at Essential call this device “GEM” and the first tweet from Andy (after almost an year) shows how color-shifty the design is. But it didn’t stop there.

Google has started rolling out new over-the-air (OTA) update for Pixel devices and also posted factory images as part of monthly Android Security release for October. The latest security update is the first after Android 10 update that was released recently.

Instagram Dark mode arrives for Android and iOS
Update: After testing it recently, Instagram has started rolling out Dark mode feature in the stable release for both Android and iOS. The company says it will automatically work on iOS 13 and Android 10 once you turn dark mode on your phone. However, if your Android phone supports dark mode (Samsung’s One UI, Xiaomi’s MIUI and others), this will trigger Instagram’s dark mode.

How to enable Monochrome mode on Xiaomi smartphones
Google announced the Digital Wellbeing feature last year aimed at being responsible with smartphone usage. Get Android 10 on Redmi Note 5 Pro with Arrow OS
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro was amongst best-selling devices last year, Xiaomi launched it running on Android Nougat, and was updated to Android 8.1 (Oreo) in June 2018.
