Apple refreshes MacBook Air with Magic Keyboard, 2x faster 10th-gen Intel Core processor, India price starts at Rs. 92990


Apple has today updated its MacBook Air with new Magic Keyboard, twice the storage that now starts at 256GB and a cheaper price. The new MacBook Air delivers promises up to two times faster CPU performance and up to 80% faster graphics performance with 10th-gen Intel Core processor, con. It still has 13-inch True Tone Retina display, Touch ID, and promises all-day battery life.

The new Magic Keyboard has a redesigned scissor mechanism that delivers 1mm of key travel for a comfortable and stable key feel, while the new inverted-“T” arrangement for the arrow keys makes them easier to find without looking down.

The new MacBook Air features an unibody wedge design made from 100 percent recycled aluminium and comes in three finishes — gold, silver and space grey. It starts at Rs. 92990 for the Core i3, 256GB Storage version, which is actually cheaper compared to the last year’s version. It is priced at $999 (Rs. 74,220 approx.) in the US and the Core i5, 512GB version costs $1,299 (Rs. 96,510 approx.). It will be available in the US from next week and will be available soon from Apple Authorised Resellers in India.

Apple has also updated Mac Mini with double the storage capacity. The base version now has 256GB priced at Rs. 74,900 ($799 in the US) and the 512GB version costs Rs. 1,04,900 ($1,099 in the US). It will be available soon from Apple Authorised Resellers in India.
