HMD Global has started rolling out Android 10 update for the Nokia 2.2 smartphone, which makes it the seventh Nokia phone to get the update after the Nokia 8.1, Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6.1. It was launched last year running Android Pie. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro, Redmi 6 Pro and Redmi Y2 in India back in 2018 running MIUI 10 on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo), all three devices received Android 9.0 (Pie) based MIUI 10 followed by MIUI 11 update last year. The above-mentioned devices may not receive another Android version update in the future but Xiaomi keeps rolling out Android security patch even for old devices from time to time.
