Xiaomi introduces Mi Reader Pro with 7.8-Inch 300 PPI e-Ink screen, adjustable warm light, 32GB storage

Xiaomi has announced Mi Reader Pro, the company’s latest eReader and the successor of Mi Reader that was introduced last year. It has a large 7.8-inch (1872 x 1404 pixels) flat e-Ink screen with 330PPI pixel density. There is 24-level adjustable front-lit LED adjustable reading light that lets you  customize the color tone from cool to warm to easily transition from daytime to a comfortable nighttime reading experience. It supports voice search and automatically locates keywords, making typing faster, searching and reading easier.

Ola investing Rs. 2400 Cr to setup world’s largest electric scooter factory in Tamil Nadu

Ola, one of India’s largest ride-hailing companies, has announced their investment of Rs. 2400 Crore towards building the largest scooter manufacturing facility in the world. They have signed an MoU with the Government of Tamil Nadu, where the Ola will setup its first factory and reportedly create jobs for 10000 people.

The company has confirmed 1.39-inch circular AMOLED touch screen with 450 nits brightness, GPS + GLONASS, 24-Hour Heart Rate Monitoring as well as blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring, 15 sports modes, 5ATM water resistance rating and a stainless case. OPPO showcased multiple conceptual designs devices at the 4th China International Industrial Design Expo (CIIDE), based on its human-centric design philosophy. Under “New Designs, New Trends, New Momentum,” theme, the designs were created by the Japanese design studio nendo, founded by Oki Sato. Apple iPhone 13 series on track for September 2021 announcement: Rumour

When the COVID-19 pandemic caused many of the factories around the world to shutdown, it significantly disrupted Apple’s iPhone supply chains, causing months of production delays. OnePlus 9 5G with 6.55-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888, triple rear cameras surface in live images

 After the CAD renders that surfaced last month, live images of the upcoming OnePlus 9 5G smartphone has surfaced online. This reveals a flat punch-hole display for the phone, similar to the OnePlus 8T, however the back of the phone has two large camera modules, and a smaller camera module along with LED flash. There is also Ultra Shot branding next to the camera. Since it is a prototype, it has a different logo instead of OnePlus. It also reveals that it will feature a 1.1kg ultra lightweight body, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos as well as Intel Core i5 processor. Now the back of the smartphone has surfaced revealing color-shifting or electrochromic glass technology that lets the glass back become transparent with a press of a button. Apple reportedly begins development of in-house 5G modem for future iPhones, iPads

Back in October, Apple made a huge splash in the smartphone space with 5G support on their latest iPhone 12 series. The 5G modem for these iPhones were supplied by Qualcomm, but that may not be the case in future iPhones and iPads and sources inside Apple have revealed that they are developing their own 5G modem chips.
