LG rolls out 48-inch CX 4K OLED TV in select Asian and European countries

ARM introduces Cortex-A78 CPU with 20% performance gain, Mali-G78 GPU with 25% improvement

Xiaomi teases Mi TV Stick with Voice Remote ahead of announcement

Back in March a roadmap for Xiaomi’s upcoming products surfaced revealing that the company is planning to launch Mi TV Stick, a compact version of its Mi TV Box in Europe in May. Now that May is over, the company did not introduce any such product, however at an event in Germany yesterday to launch the Redmi Note 9 series phones, the company teased the Mi TV Stick with an image. Get Android 10 on Redmi Note 8 with Extended UI

Xiaomi’s Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 8 series in the country back in October running MIUI 10.3 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie) and later rolled out MIUI 11 update to both the smartphones. The Pro variant has been the talk of the town since it is superior to the vanilla Redmi Note 8 in every aspect, but Redmi Note 8 has better custom ROM and mods support compared to its Pro sibling, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.

Redmi Note 8 Pro has already received Android 10 update but Redmi Note 8 still runs on Android 9, but you can always install a custom ROM to stay on the latest version of Android. Along with the Redmi 10X series, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand also introduced the RedmiBook 16 in China, as it had promised. It has a 16.1-inch Full HD screen with 3.26mm ultra narrow bezels and 90% screen-to-body ratio, Ryzen 4000 series 7nm processors with Radeon GPU and up to 16GB of RAM. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand along with Redmi 10X series smartphones also introduced new Redmi Smart TV X series smart TVs with 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch 4K panels with ultra-narrow bezels offering 97% screen-to-body ratio, HDR support and MEMC motion compensation technology.  It has 8-unit audio system that includes 25w full-range speakers and  tweeters.
