Update: July 9, 2020 — Reels feature is now rolling out for users in India inside the Instagram app. You can now create reels just by swiping to the left just like you post stories. Following Apple, Samsung rumoured to not include charger in the box from next year

A little over a week ago, rumours surfaced claiming that Apple would not be including a charger in the box with a purchase of their upcoming iPhone 12 series. It has a 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display, is powered by 1.6GHz Octa Core SoC with 2GB of RAM, has an 8-megapixel primary rear camera with Portrait Mode (Bokeh), Burst mode, HDR, Night mode, 5-megapixel front camera is also equipped with face-unlock feature that unlocks the phone in just 0.6 seconds. realme C11 with 6.5-inch Mini drop display, Helio G35, 5000mAh battery launching in India on July 14

realme just announced that it will launch its C11 budget smartphone in India, after it was introduced in Malaysia last week. It is one of the first smartphones to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. The company had been teasing the phone on its social channels as an alternative to feature phones and said that there are over 7.5 million users of C series phones in India. Vivo’s iQOO brand just announced iQOO Z1x 5G the company’s latest 5G smartphone in China as it had promised. It has a 6.57-inch FHD+ 20:9 LCD screen with 90.4% screen-to-body ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and houses a 16-megapixel front camera in the punch-hole screen. It is powered by Snapdragon 765G Mobile platform with support for 85mm long liquid cooling tube, 10000mm² graphite sheet, combined with the intelligent Cooling Turbo technology to reduce the temperature up to 10℃. Synaptics acquires Broadcom’s Wireless IoT Connectivity business for $250 million

Synaptics, a company that specialises in human interface solutions has announced that they will be acquiring the rights to the wireless IoT business of Broadcom, which includes their Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/GNSS products and businesses in the IoT market, in a $250 million agreement.

Intel introduces Thunderbolt 4 universal USB Type-C connectivity solution with 40Gbps bandwidth

Intel just announced Thunderbolt 4, the next-generation Thunderbolt with USB4 specification. It still has USB-C connector offering 40Gbps speed, same as the Thunderbolt 3, but this will offer docks with up to four Thunderbolt ports and universal cables up to 2 meters in length. It has also doubled  minimum video and data requirements of Thunderbolt 3 and expanded end-to-end solution capabilities.
