HMD Global has started teasing the launch of a new Nokia smartphone on July 27th. The company also says, “With our newest Nokia phone, you will never need a case again.”. This hints at a rugged phone, but the design of the phone in the teaser image shows a design similar to the X20 that was introduced back in April.
It could be Nokia XR20 (TA-1362), a rugged variant of Nokia X20 that surfaced recently in Geekbench revealing Snapdragon 480 5G SoC, same as as the X20. It is said to pack a similar 6.67-inch FHD+ display, and come in Blue and Grey colours. The phone is said to feature a 48MP rear camera along with a 13MP camera and an 8MP front camera and is expected to pack a 4630mAh battery.
We should know all the details including the price when it is introduced later this month.
