ASUS just released its CES 2015 teaser titled The origin of craftsmanship of the next Zen. The title clearly sates that it is going to unveil the next Zenfone device at the event. The teaser also says Experience 2morrow, which could hint at Zenfone 2 name. It launched three Zenfone devices at the CES 2014 earlier this year in three price segments. Philips S388 was listed on official India website back in August for Rs. 13694 (MRP) and later went on sale for Rs. 7,795 online. Now the Philips S398 smartphone has been listed on the official website in India. It has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), has a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Xiaomi raising $1 billion in latest round of funding: Report

Xiaomi is said to raise more than $1 billion in its latest round of funding, according to reports from WSJ and Bloomberg. The latest funding comes from All-Stars Investment, DST Global and Singapore sovereign-wealth fund GIC, says the report. Back in November the company said to have raised $1.5 billion in funding. Recently there were reports that the company is valued over $40 billion. New reports say that Xiaomi is valued at more than $45 billion looking at the latest funding.

Samsung develops Look at Me interactive app for children with Autism

Samsung has developed Look at Me, a training program that helps children with autism make eye contact. Samsung has partnered with Autism Speaks Canada to 200 Galaxy Tab S devices pre-loaded with the Look at Me app. This will be given to 200 families with children with autism. It has been designed to support meaningful connections between parents, caregivers, and their children, says Samsung. Samsung Z1 Tizen smartphone reportedly launching in India in January 2015

Samsung is all set to launch the Samsung Z1, the company’s budget Tizen OS smartphone in India on January 18th 2015, according to a report from Korea Economic Daily. Earlier reports in September and November said that the Tizen powered smartphone will hit Indian markets by November or December. Looks like the launch will finally happen in January. Samsung has also started their partners meet for the Samsung Z1 in India. Since January 18th lies on Sunday, the date might be wrong. Google releases Android 5.0.2 factory images and pushes AOSP builds

In less than three weeks after releasing Android 5.0.1 update for its devices, Google has released factory images for Android 5.0.2 and also pushed the same to AOSP for the Nexus 7 (2012) WiFi. Samsung announced the Galaxy A5 smartphone with all metallic build few months back. We brought you the unboxing recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone.
