TECNO, a budget-focused smartphone brand, is scheduled to launch the TECNO Phantom X, the company’s first high-end smartphone, on April 29th, with some flagship features at a low price. The company’s Twitter account acknowledges the arrival, remarking, “It’s Premium, It’s Cool!!” and posting an image of the phone’s Flexible Curved AMOLED display. Counterpoint, a well-known global research group, has reported a 15% YoY increase in refurbished smartphone volumes in 2021, citing a rise in the secondary smartphone industry.
