After being hit by the largest earthquakes ever recorded followed by a deadly tsunami that slammed into the Japan’s east coast, leaving a huge swath of devastation, Sony Ericsson is one of the companies which has been affected by the disaster, since Tokyo has been the their hub from the beginning. The company has been closely following the situation in Japan and has been doing all that is needed for the safety of their employees. There are approximately 1100 employees (including consultants) working at both the offices in Tokyo, and confirms that no employee was injured, and no major damage has been done to their offices. The affected area in northern Japan supplies a large portion of the world’s electronics industry with components, and the current situation also seems to impact Sony Ericsson’s business. LG Mobiles has launched 3 new handsets in the Indian market – T325,P520 and T310i. These phones boast of advanced multimedia features and are mainly targeted at the youth.
T-Mobile announced their new slider phone, T-Mobile Sidekick 4G. The phone is powered by Android and manufactured by Samsung. The Nokia E7 was finally launched today in New Delhi, India. The phone was launched by Bollywood Actor Shahrukh Khan and Shivakumar, MD and Vice-President of Nokia India. The price of the Symbian smartphone is Rs.29999 and is targeted at business users.Nokia E7 is the first Symbian^3 phone which comes with a full QWERTY keyboard.
As expected, the Samsung Galaxy Tab too gets a price cut, which is now selling for Rs.24,900 at Flipkart and other online stores in India. Initially the Android tablet was selling for Rs.38,000 when it was first launched, and then was reduced to 28k with the launch of the Apple iPad in India.

Rumors hint about Sprint planning to launch three new devices: Nexus S 4G, HTC EVO 3D and EVO View, at the CTIA event which is going to be held at the end of March. Sources say that Sprint is getting ready to kick-off at the event with the launch of these new 4G devices.
The first one is the Nexus S 4G from Samsung. As the name suggests, this might be the next version of the Nexus S, equipped with 4G radios. So the new version of Nexus S can be expected with some WiMAX and CDMA capabilities.
The next device, the HTC EVO 3D, is another 3D phone which might be launched to keep up with the latest trend of 3D capable devices and especially to take on the LG Optimus 3D. So this phone might be the successor of HTC EVO 4G combined with 3D capabilities.
The last device is the HTC EVO View, a CDMA version of the Flyer tablet which was introduced at MWC 2011.
