Samsung started its beta program for the Android 7.0 (Nougat) update on Galaxy S7 and S7 edge last month. Google already moved from Android 7.0 to Android 7.1 to Android 7.1.1 in a few months. Panasonic has launched Eluga Prim, the company’s latest 4G smartphone with Voice over LTE (VoLTE) support in the ‘Eluga series’. nubia has sent out invites for the launch of Z11 and N1 smartphones in India on December 14th at an event in Delhi, couple of months after launching the Z11 mini smartphone in the country. The nubia Z11 that was introduced back in June in China has a 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D border-less display and is powered by Snapdragon 820 processor. The nubia N1 has a 5.5-inch 1080p display and packs a 5000mAh battery. Both the phones have a unibody metal design.

After Airtel, Idea cellular has launched two new packs for its pre-paid customers that offer unlimited voice calls along with data benefits. The Rs. 148 pack offers 300 MB 4G data and free Local and STD Idea-to-Idea calls. The Rs. 348 pack offers free Local and STD calls to any network in India along with 1GB 4G data. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 3 (Pro) with Snapdragon 650 in India running MIUI 7 based on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) back in March earlier this year starting at Rs. 9999. Later it got the MIUI 8 update, but the Android version was the same, now the company has finally started rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the smartphone along with the MIUI 8.1.1.0.MHOMIDI OTA update as nightly build, which Xiaomi calls Beta Stable release before the final update.
Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom (ZE553KL), the company’s upcoming smartphone in the Zenfone 3 series has been certified by China’s TENAA and has also passed through Bluetooth SIG. This reveals a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 625 processor and 12.2-megapixel and a 13-megapixel dual rear cameras for the smartphone with dual-tone LED flash.
