Google permanently turns off top touch functionality on Home Mini
Google recently temporarily disabled the top button of the Home Mini post few reports from various sources which claimed that their Home mini speaker automatically starts listening at random occasions and sending the recording to the Google servers. While, Google’s initial plan was to temporarily disable the button, as it works on an update that can fix the issue, but today, in contrast, the company has decided to permanently turn off the top button. Tata to merge consumer mobile business with Airtel
Bharti Airtel and Tata today announced that they have entered into an agreement to merge Consumer Mobile Businesses (CMB) of Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) and Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Limited (TTML) into Bharti Airtel. As a part of the deal, Airtel will take over Tata’s consumer operations across the country in nineteen circles (17 under TTSL and 2 under TTML) with over 40 million customers joining Airtel and assets of Tata CMB.

Nubia Z17 miniS with 5.2-inch 1080p display, 6GB RAM, dual front and rear cameras announced
ZTE’s nubia brand along with the Z17S also announced Nubia Z17 miniS, successor of Z17 mini that was introduced earlier this year. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p screen and is powered by Snapdragon 653 SoC with 6GB RAM and 13-megapixel dual rear cameras with monochrome + RGB sensors on the back, but this comes with a 16-megapixel front camera along with a 5-megapixel secondary front camera and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with nubia UI 5.0 . ZTE’s nubia brand just announced Nubia Z17S, the company’s flagship smartphone in China. It has a 5.73-inch FHD+ full-screen display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with Nubia UI 5.1. It has a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture,0.03 second dual pixel focus, 1.4μm pixel size along with a secondary 23-megapixel secondary camera for 2x optical zoom and background blur, similar to the Z17. Apple has rolled out iOS 11.0.3 update for iPhone and iPad that includes fixes for audio and haptic feedback issues on some iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus phones. Amazon just introduced a new Kindle Oasis eReader, successor of last year’s model. It can also withstand getting splashed at the beach or dropped in the bath tub, hot tub, or pool. Huawei’s Honor brand along with the Honor 7X also announced Honor WaterPlay, its first water-resistant tablet with IP67 ratings. It has a 10.1-inch QXGA screen, is powered by Kirin 659 SoC and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.1. It has stereo speakers with Huawei Histen 3D audio technology and harman / kardon audio tech and a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. Samsung introduces 12MP ISOCELL Fast 2L9 Dual Pixel and ISOCELL Slim 2X7 sensors for smartphones
Samsung today has introduced two new image sensors; the ISOCELL fast 2L9 and Slim 2X7. The Fast 2L9 is a 1.28 micrometer 12-megapixel camera sensor while the Slim 2X7 is an ultra-small 0.9μm 24Mp ISOCELL Slim 2X7 with Tetracell technology. Samsung has four categories for their camera sensors; the fast, slim, ultra and bright which the company uses depending on the product.
