OnePlus introduced the Lava Red edition of the OnePlus 5T smartphone in China back in November. Today it has launched the new color variant of the smartphone in India. This has black bezel on the front and comes with bright red finish on the back and the sides of the phone. It recently launched the 5T Star Wars edition in India and introduced the 5T Sandstone White Limited Edition for global markets last week.

Huawei introduced Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Design Mate 10 smartphones at an event in Germany back in October last year and the phone rolled out in November in several countries. At the CES 2018 the company announced that both the phones will be available int the U.S. from February. The company also announced that it has signed popular actress Gal Gadot as the company’s first Chief Experience Officer.
Airtel today announced that it has archived 6500 mobile broadband sites (4G+3G sites) across Gujarat, expanding the availability of data services to more than 7250 towns and villages in the state. “In the expansion process, Airtel has installed one new 4G site every 90 minutes in the past 6 months to cater to the surge in the high-speed internet needs of the users and to collaborate with the Government’s vision of Digital India,” said the company. Panasonic has announced the LUMIX GH5S, its latest flagship model under LUMIX G DSLM cameras based on the Micro Four Thirds system standard. This doesn’t have 5-Axis in-body Stabilization that was present in the GH5 that was launched and also uses new 10.2-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor with Dual Native ISO Technology and Venus Engine that allows for a maximum 51200 ISO in high-sensitivity recording with minimal noise. It can record Cinema 4K (4096 x 2160 resolution) video at 30 or 60 frames per second and shoot 14-bit RAW files at up to 10 frames per second.
Samsung today launched the Galaxy A8+ (2018) smartphone in India, as it had promised. It was introduced last month along with the Galaxy A8 (2018) and packs a 6-inch Full HD+Infinity Super AMOLED 18.5:9 display, is powered by Octa-Core Exynos 7885 14nm processor, runs Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), has 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, and a 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel dual front cameras, both with f/1.9 aperture. Along with the Lenovo Mirage camera, Google in partnership with YI Technology introduced YI Horizon VR180 Camera at the CES 2018. It leverages Google’s new VR180 format so that the stereoscopic 3-D camera captures high-resolution, immersive 3D video in 5.7K resolution at 30 frames per second (fps). Qualcomm at the CES 2018 announced that Qualcomm Smart Audio Platform now helps manufacturers to reduce development time of smart speakers featuring Cortana, Google Assistant as well as Google Services and Alexa Voice Service (AVS).
Qualcomm at the CES 2018 introduced Low Power Bluetooth SoC QCC5100 series with support for third-party Voice Assistant Services, Qualcomm TrueWireless Stereo, Qualcomm aptX HD audio and Integrated Hybrid ANC for wireless earbuds, hearables and headsets. Qualcomm also said that it reduces power consumption by up to 65% for both voice calls and music streaming, compared to previous single-chip Bluetooth audio solutions. Western Digital at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018 (CES 2018) introduced the world’s smallest 256GB SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive, which also comes in other capacities. It introduced world’s smallest 128GB USB 3.0 Ultra Fit Flash Drive back in 2015. It also showcased the prototype of world’s smallest 1TB USB Type-C flash drive.
Samsung started teasing the launch of new ‘On Series’ smartphone in India last month, exclusively on Amazon India. Now Amazon has revealed that the phone as Galaxy On7 Prime and IANS report says that the phone will be launched this week. It has almost similar specifications as the Galaxy J7 Prime that was launched last back in 2016, but this has a 13-megapixel front camera instead of 8-megapixel camera in he J7 Prime.
