Xiaomi has launched the Mi Band 3i in India, a cheaper version of the Mi Band 3 in India, it had promised. It has a 0.78-inch OLED touch screen display that shows real-time data for running, cycling, walking, and other activities, is 5ATM water proof so that you can take it for swimming under 50 meters, but this doesn’t have a heart rate sensor that it present in the Mi Band 3. Realme 5s with 6.5-inch display, 48MP quad rear cameras, 5000mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 9999

Realme has launched the Realme 5s, an enhanced version of the realme 5 in India, as it had promised. It the same 6.5-inch HD+ Mini-drop notch display with 78% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 665 11nm SoC with 4GB RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0,  plastic back with crystal design that offers a combination of glossy surface and nano-scale texture and packs a 5000mAh battery, but this comes with a 48-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, instead of 12-megapixel camera in the realme 5, while retaining the 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro shots. Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 32-inch and 43-inch (2018) Android TV Pie update finally starts rolling out

Xiaomi launched Mi TV 4A 32-inch HD ready and 43-inch Full HD models last year running Patchwall based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). These TVs didn’t get any updates, even months after the company released new Android TV models running Android Oreo-based Patchwall. The company back in July started early access program to offer Android 9.0 (Pie) Android TV update directly to these users, skipping Android Oreo, now it has started rolling out the Android TV Pie update for these TVs. Xiaomi Mi Reader with 6-Inch e-Ink screen, built-in light, USB Type-C port announced

Xiaomi has introduced Mi Reader, the company’s first eReader with a 6-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) and e-Ink screen with 212PPI pixel density. There is 24-level adjustable front-lit LED reading light that can achieve more than 90% brightness uniformity comfortable to read in bright or dark light environment. Redmi K30 with dual front in-screen cameras, SA/NSA dual mode 5G support to be announced in December

Update:  November 19, 2019 — At the Xiaomi Developers Conference was held in Beijing yesterday, CEO Lei Jun confirmed that the K30 will be introduced in China next month. Earlier rumors said that it will be powered by Snapdragon 735 (Snapdragon 7250)

Xiaomi Mi Band 3i launching in India on November 21

Xiaomi launched the Mi Band 4 in India, now it has confirmed that it will launch Mi Band 3i in India on November 21st. This should be a cheaper version, just like they did with HRX Edition. The company is conducting a RunWithMi running event Energized by Mi Smart Band on December 1st and it also says that finishers will get the new Mi Smart Band.

NoiseFit Evolve Smartwatch offers 1.2-inch AMOLED display, heart rate sensor, IP68 water-resistance at Rs. 5499

Noise, popular for its wearables has launched NoiseFit Evolve, the company’s first watch with an AMOLED screen. It has a classic, round form factor  and comes with fitness features, smart notifications, music and camera control, right from your wrist.  The AMOLED screen lets you read easily in direct sunlight, according to Noise. The company says that it has connected GPS, so it looks like the watch will require phone for GPS co-ordinates for activities like running. It weighs just 43  grams, and has Anodized aluminium and plastic body with thermoplastic polyurethane strap that is removable. Vivo U20 with 6.53-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 675, 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging launching in India on Nov 22

Update: Vivo has confirmed that the phone will feature a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with 90.3% screen-to-body ratio and a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging over USB Type-C. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack and the loudspeaker grill on the bottom. It also says that this has the biggest display in the Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000 segment, which hints that it should start under Rs. 12,000.

Redmi Note 8 gets a new Nebula Purple color variant

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand introduced the Redmi Note 8 smartphone in China back in August, and it was launched in India last month. The company has introduced a new Nebula Purple color variant in China that joins the Neptune Blue, Moonlight White and Space Black colors.
