OnePlus has started rolling out new OxygenOS 10.3.0 update for the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphones that brings several new features including an option to hide the notch area along with several fixes in screen lock, navigation bar, Digital Wellbeing and issues in WiFi 5GHz networks. Fingerprint unlock is now faster with slight improvement in fingerprint animation. Redmi 9 with upcoming Helio G70 SoC said to launch in Q1 2020

It has just been two months since the launch of Redmi 8 smartphone, now details about the upcoming Redmi 9 has surfaced. According to the latest rumors Xiaomi will move from Snapdragon SoCs to MediaTek for its budget smartphone. The Redmi 9 phone is said to be powered by the upcoming G70 SoC, which could be gaming equivalent to the P70 positioned below Helio G90 series. Reliance Jio introduced‘New All-in-one plans‘ with revised pricing along with JioPrime benefits with Fair Usage Policy on unlimited calling from Jio to other networks. Later it revised the plans with up to 40% higher tariff that came into effect 6th December 2019. It also urged users to recharge before the date. Thanks to TRAI’s tariff protection, which mandes all telecom operators to make any plan available for a minimum of six months, you can recharge smartphone plans for 6 more months, and all-in-one plans till April 2020. TRAI retains 6 paise per minute Interconnection Usage Charges for one more year, will scrap charges from 2021

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) back in 2017 revised interconnection usage charges (IUC) for mobile to mobile calls to 6 paise per minute. In its Fifteenth Amendment Regulations, 2019, which prescribes revision in the date of applicability of Bill and Keep (BAK)regime in respect of wireless to wireless domestic call termination charges, TRAI has announced that for wireless to wireless domestic calls, termination charge would continue to remain as Re.0.06 (paise six only) per minute up to 31st December, 2020. Vivo has announced X30 and X30 Pro flagship smartphones at an event in China few hours back, as it had promised. These packs a 6.44-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2.98mm punch-hole that houses a 32-megapixel camera, is powered by Samsung Exynos 980 with support for liquid cooling, run Android Pie with FuntouchOS 10. The X30 packs a 64MP main camera lens along with 8MP wide-angle lens and a 32MP portrait lens for 50mm equivalent full frame focal length, while the X30 Pro features an additional 13-megapixel periscope lens instead of the portrait lens for 5x loss-less zoom. Realme just launched the realme Buds Air, the company’s first true wireless earphones in India along with the realme X2, as it had promised. It has 12mm drivers that promises dynamic bass, Bluetooth 5.0 support with AAC audio codec for an enhanced audio experience. The main highlight of the earbuds is its low-latency gaming mode, which promises 50% reduction in latency when gaming, thanks to the R1 chip. It also has dual microphones for better call quality and environmental noise cancellation. ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G with Snapdragon 865, SA/NSA dual mode 5G, Android 10 to be announced in 2020

During the Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019 earlier this month ZTE was one of the OEMs who confirmed that it will introduce new Axon phones with 5G support, Snapdragon 865 and X55 in the first half of 2020.
