
AMD has announced the Radeon RX 9050 graphics card, expanding the Radeon RX 9000 Series with a new desktop GPU based on the AMD RDNA 4 architecture. The graphics card is designed for 1080p gaming and supports AMD FSR technologies, next-generation ray tracing, and AV1 video encoding and decoding.
The Radeon RX 9050 features 8GB GDDR6 memory and a 92W Typical Board Power (TBP).
AMD Radeon RX 9050 architecture and features
The Radeon RX 9050 features 16 Compute Units, 1,024 Stream Processors, 16 Ray Accelerators, and 32 AI Accelerators. It operates at a Game Frequency of 1,920MHz and offers a Boost Frequency of up to 2,600MHz.
The graphics card delivers up to 10.6 TFLOPs of Peak Single Precision (FP32 Vector) Performance and 10.6 TFLOPs of Peak Half Precision (FP16 Vector) Performance. It includes 64 ROPs, 64 Texture Units, and offers up to 166.4 GP/s Peak Pixel Fill Rate.
The Radeon RX 9050 comes with 8GB GDDR6 memory, a 128-bit memory interface, up to 18Gbps memory speed, and up to 288GB/s memory bandwidth. It also includes 32MB AMD Infinity Cache technology.

Alongside the Radeon RX 9050 launch, AMD has released AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.7.1. The driver update adds official day-one support for the Radeon RX 9050 and introduces early multiplayer access support for Gears of War: E-Day.
