Samsung today launched Odyssey G9 49-inch and the G7 32-inch and 27-inch world’s first 1000R gaming monitors with curvature radius of 1,000 millimeters in India. These have been certified by TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certificate, come with 1ms response time and a refresh rate of 240Hz. The 49-inch Odyssey monitor is the world’s first Dual Quad High-Definition (DQHD) monitor with crystal clear QLED picture quality that offer detailed, pin-sharp images for immersive gaming experience. Samsung Galaxy A12 with 6.5-inch Infinity-V display, 48MP quad rear cameras, 5000mAh battery and Galaxy A02 announced

Samsung has announced Galaxy  A12 and Galaxy  A02, two new smartphones in the Galaxy A series. These smartphones feature a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display, feature matte finish on the backpack and a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W adaptive fast charging. The A12 also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Samsung Knox security. POCO M3 with 6.53-inch FHD+ display, 48MP triple rear cameras, 6000mAh battery announced

POCO just announced POCO M3, the company’s latest budget smartphone at a global launch event. The phone packs a  6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD  Dotdrop screen with 90.34% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 662 SoC, 48-megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash along with a 2-megapixel 4cm macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Indian Government bans 43 more mobile apps including AliExpress

The Indian government today announced that it has banned 43 more mobile apps, including AliExpress, Alipay and more Alibaba apps. It says are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order. The government banned 59 mobile apps in the country back in June and 118 apps including PUBG Mobile in September. PUBG Mobile India recently said that it will launch a new game for India. Moto E7 with 6.5-inch Max Vision display, 48MP rear camera announced

Motorola just announced the Moto E7, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the E series after the Moto E7 Plus was introduced back in September. The phone flaunts a 6.5-inch HD+ MaxVision display with a water-drop style notch, is powered by the Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G25 SoC with 2GB RAM, 32GB storage that can be expanded through microSD. LG Cinebeam Laser 4K projector with up to 300-inch projection, webOS 5.0 starts rolling out

LG introduced its new CineBeam 4K Laser projector (HU810PW)  at the IFA couple of months back, now it has started rolling out the projector from South Korea. It supports  4K (3,840×2,160) UHD resolution with a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, brightness of 2,700 ANSI-Lumen and meets 97%  DCI-P3 colour gamut. The screen size can be adjusted from 40 inches (about 1 meter diagonally) to 300 inches (about 7.62 meters diagonally), so it can be used in various spaces. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 smartphone in India last year running MIUI 10.2 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie) and launched the updated Redmi Note 7S with 48 MP rear camera in May 2019 running MIUI 10.2 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie). These smartphones have already started receiving Android 10 based MIUI 12 update in India (only for Pilot testers). Tamil Nadu bans online gaming involving betting

Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit has promulgated Ordinance to “Ban Online Gaming” that involves betting. This is issued after innocent people mainly youngsters are being cheated and some people have committed suicide after losing money, said the official release. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Palaniswami had recently said that the government was taking steps to ban online games following several demands and complaints about suicides of people who lost money due to such activities in the state. OnePlus 9 Pro with 6.7-inch curved display, quad rear cameras renders surface

After the OnePlus 9, CAD-based renders of the OnePlus 9 Pro, the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone which is still in the prototype stage has surfaced online. This reveals a 6.7-inch curved screen with a punch-hole in the top left corner. It will likely be a Quad HD+ AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner, but it is not clear if the company will move from 120Hz to 144Hz refresh rate screen. Get Android 11 on Redmi Note 8/8T with Extended UI 2.0

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 8 in India almost a year back. The smartphone recently started receiving Android 10 based MIUI 12 update in several regions including India. Though Google, a couple of months back, officially announced Android 11, some users of Redmi Note 8 – which was the best-selling Android smartphone in the first quarter, are yet to receive Android 10 update on their devices (we too have not received the update on our device yet).

Realme 7 5G with 6.5-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, Dimensity 800U, 48MP quad rear cameras, 5000mAh battery announced

relame has announced realme 7 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in the UK, as it had promised. It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, 90.7% screen-to-body ratio and a 16-megapixel camera on the front. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC with support for 5G SA/NSA and Android 10 with realme UI. It features a 48-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel 4cm macro camera and a 2-megapixel B&W portrait camera.
