After teasers, OnePlus has launched the Nord 2T, successor to last year’s Nord 2 in India. It retains the 6.43-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display, 90Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio, has a 32-megapixel in-screen camera with Sony IMX615 sensor, but it replaces the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset with the new Dimensity 1300 SoC. After rumours, Nothing co-founder Carl Pei has confirmed to Input Mag that the Nothing Phone (1) will be powered by Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. The Snapdragon 778G is one of the most popular mid-range SoC, and the 778G+ is an overclocked version that was introduced last year is present only in few phones. It has up to 2.5GHz clock speeds and the Adreno 642L GPU promises up to 20% faster graphics rendering compared to the 778G. HMD Global has announced Nokia G11 Plus, the company’s latest smartphone in the G series, soon after the launch of the Nokia G11 earlier this year. It retains the 6.5-inch HD+ v-notch screen with 90Hz refresh rate, and is expected to retain Unisoc T606 SoC as well. It has 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, runs Android 12 with a promise of two years of software upgrades and three years of security updates. Akash Ambani has been appointed as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company. However, Mukesh Ambani will continue as the chairman of Jio Platforms Ltd, the flagship company that owns all Jio digital services brands including Reliance Jio.
