Xiaomi launched the Mi Note in Singapore and Malaysia recently. Today the company has announced a partnership with Uber that will let Uber riders in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to order the Mi Note smartphone using the Uber app on-demand during an exclusive pre-launch flash sale on July 27th. The Mi Note is priced at S$ 569 in Singapore and RM1549 in Malaysia.

Motorola has reduced the price of both the 3G and 4G variants of the Moto E (2nd Gen) by Rs. 1000, These are now available for Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 6999, respectively. Flipkart also offers Rs. 2000 off in exchange for old smartphones. Airtel users also get double data for two months on select recharge packs. It is not clear if this is a limited period price cut. ZTE introduced Axon Pro smartphone in the U.S with 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 64-bit SoC and 4GB of RAM. It introduced Axon Lux smartphone with similar specifications in China, but this has a 128GB of internal storage with expansion slot, a fingerprint sensor and a leather-like finish on the back. Skype for Android has been updated to version 5.6 that brings a refreshed look. It now lets you see more chats on the Recent tab that allows you to catch up on more conversations, especially when you have multiple chats going at the same time. You can now view friends who are online, on all the screen with unified avatars that is also now rounded. Chat bubbles now have new color. This gives chats more clarity, says Skype.

OnePlus 2 has finally been certified on TENNA (Via) in China, which shows the image of the upcoming smartphone. This reveals a home button below the display, which is likely to have fingerprint sensor, as the company confirmed earlier. There is a laser auto focus on the back for the camera along with a dual-tone flash. It also shows the same sandstone finish on the back, but the company will sell style swap covers separately. Apple has reported revenue of $49.6 billion with a net profit of $10.7 billion in their earnings for the financial year Q3 2015 that ended June 27, 2015. Revenues were up 33% and earnings per share up 45% year-over-year. Apple sold 47.5 million iPhones, compared to 35.2 million over last year, representing 35% year-over-year growth, 10.9 million iPads, compared to 13.3 million year-over-year and 4.8 million Macs during the quarter, up 9% year-over-year.
