Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) today reported its quarterly financial results that ended 30th September, 2015. Reliance Jio already announced that it plans to launch 4G services by December 2015 and introduce 4G smartphones below Rs. 4000 during that period. Today Reliance Retail said that it has achieved a milestone of 5,000 crore quarterly turnover mark for the first time last quarter announced its plans to launch 4G LTE smartphones under the brand LYF. Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note5 smartphone back in August in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium colors. The Korean giant today introduced Silver Titanium and new Pink Gold color variants in Korea. According to Samsung, the Silver Titanium color will offer a more urban and sophisticated feel with a robust metal body. The Pink gold color variant offers a charming look, yet give elegant depth, says the company. As you can see, this resembles the new Rose Gold iPhone 6s color, but has a slightly darker shade. OnePlus X specs confirmed by TENAA, reveals 3GB RAM and 8MP front camera

Image of the upcoming OnePlus X smartphone with the model number One E1001 already appeared on TENAA listing, now the specifications of the smartphone has surfaced on TENAA (Via). This confirms 5-inch 1080p display and  2GHz quad-core processor, which is likely to be Snapdragon 801 and not the MediaTek Helio X10 as rumored earlier. It also confirms 13-megapixel rear camera, but it mentions only 1080p video recording and not 4K. It also reveals that the smartphone will feature an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

LG G4 Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to roll out starting next week

LG just announced that it would start rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for its flagship LG G4 smartphone from next week starting from Poland. This would be followed by other key markets in Europe, Asia and the Americas, said the Korean giant. Roll out details will be announced when it becomes available in local markets. Micromax invests in Gaana, to pre-install app on its smartphones

Micromax has invested in Times Internet’s Gaana music streaming service. As a part of this investment, Gaana app will be pre-installed on all new Micromax smartphones. New users will get a free trial of premium service Gaana+, which offers unlimited music streaming without any ads. Gaana has 20 million active users and over 30 million downloads, said the company. The financial terms of the investment has not been revealed.
