Lenovo has launched its Zuk Z1 smartphone in India in a crowd-sourced launch, as it had promised. The smartphone was introduced back in August last year, packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by Snapdragon 801 SoC, packs 3GB of RAM, runs on Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Andriod 5.1 (Lollipop), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Samsung has launched Galaxy J5 (2016) and J7 (2016), two new smartphones in the new J series, as it had promised. These were announced in March in China. The Galaxy J5 (2016) has a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, while the J7 (2016) has a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen. Both these have a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for capturing better selfies. These have dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity.

Now press images of the Moto X (2016) and the new Droid smartphone that will be heading to Verizon. The new images confirm the metal body and also reveals fingerprint sensor below the display on a huge bezel. There is also Laser autofocus on the back. There is also flash on the front. According to the images, it will have a camouflage back with IP68 certified casing and will likely be water resistant, similar to the predecessor.
