Vodafone expands 4G LTE services across Karnataka, launches Vodafone U packs

Vodafone launched 4G services in Mysore and Bengaluru earlier this year, now it has announced that Vodafone SuperNet 4G has been rolled out across Karnataka benefiting over 72 lakh customers. It is based on 1800 MHz spectrum band and is supported by a strong backhaul of 3G network. Vodafone also announced that it has added more than 2000 cell sites across Karnataka to launch its 4G network in Bengaluru and Mysuru.

Opera introduced free built-in VPN for developer version with 256-bit encryption last month. Today is has released Opera developer 39 that brings a dedicated power saving mode. “This is designed to extend laptop battery life by up to 50% compared with Google Chrome or older version of Opera. Depending on your type of hardware, it can mean several hours more browsing before you need to recharge your laptop,” says the company. Google Android VR standalone headset expected to be announced at I/O next week

Now former tech journalist Peter Rojas says that the Android VR headset will be announced at the Google I/O that starts on May 18th. He also said that the headset will not be as powerful as the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift, but it will be more powerful compared to the Gear VR that requires a smartphone. Vodafone to launch 4G LTE services in Gujarat, Haryana, UP and West Bengal soon

After launching its 4G LTE services or SuperNet 4G in 5 circles – Kerala, Karnataka, Mumbai, Delhi & NCR and Kolkata, Vodafone has announced that it will launch 4G services in Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (East) and West Bengal in the second phase of roll out. “The nine circles of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Karnataka, Kerala, Haryana, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh (East) and West Bengal, together contribute to just under 70% of Vodafone India’s data revenues,” said the company.
