OPPO introduced its entry-level A37 smartphone in China back in April. Now it has introduced the smartphone for global markets. It has a 5-inch HD screen with 2.5D arc edge glass, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with ColorOS 3.0, comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Chinese version, but this is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC instead of octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor.

It has dual (nano) SIM support with dedicated SIM and microSD slots in a single tray, unlike hybrid SIM slots in the Chinese variant. It also comes with 4G LTE connectivity and packs a 2630mAh built-in battery.
