Demonetization to slow down PC, phone sales in India in Q4 2016: IDC
The recent move by government of demonetizing Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes has led to a slow down across many industries and consumer devices market. The high-value currency which accounts for more than two-third of the cash supply will lead to immediate but temporary contraction in the devices market in Q4 2016, according latest International Corporation (IDC) prediction.

Tablet shipments in India up 7.8% in Q3 2016, Datawind continues lead: IDC
A total of 1.06 million tablets including slate and detachables have been shipped in India in CY Q3 2016 remaining stagnant over the same period last year, according to International Data Corporation (IDC). The total tablet shipments grew 7.8 percent in Q3 2016 over Q2 2016.
