Clips app gets Disney and Pixar characters and new graphic overlays

Apple had launched Clips video creation app for iPhone and iPad earlier in March. Now, the company has updated the app with addition of classic Disney and Pixar characters. The update which bumps the app to version 1.1 also features animated overlays of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck.

Softbank’s 20% stake buy in Paytm’s parent One97 Communications approved by CCI

Japanese internet and telecom conglomerate, SoftBank’s 20 percent stake purchase in One97 Communications, the parent company of digital payments platform Paytm, has been approved by the Competition Commission of India (CCI). The approval comes two months after Paytm raised Rs 9,000 crores ($1.4 billion) from SoftBank, making it the biggest investment by the Softbank in the Indian internet ecosystem.

Update – July 20: OnePlus has released a statement saying that it will be rolling out the software update soon to fix the issue.

We have been in touch with the customer and have tested a software update that has resolved the issue. We will be rolling out the software update shortly.

A new OnePlus 5 bug is not allowing some users to call emergency services in the U.S. and UK, according to post on Reddit. Few OnePlus 5 users are complaining that their phones are rebooting immediately after dialing ‘911’ (US) or ‘999’ (UK).
