Google has finally announced that it is giving up on Allo after it stopped investing in the app earlier this year. The app will become non-functional in March 2019. Apple has announced that 70% of eligible iPhones, iPod touch devices are running on iOS 12 as of December 3rd, 2018. The adoption rate is up 10% in just five weeks; as of October 29th, iOS 12 was installed on 63% on all eligible devices. The combined AR and VR headset market grew 9.4% year over year in the Q3 2018, according to the IDC. The VR headset market returned to growth in Q3 2018 after four consecutive quarters of decline and now makes up 97% of the combined market.
