Qualcomm to introduce 5G capable laptop SoCs to compete with Apple’s M-series

Yesterday during their Investor Day 2021,  ARM-based chip designer Qualcomm unveiled their project plans to make a powerful ARM-based processor for a PC that would rival Apple’s M-series silicon. The company also announced that their supply of 5G modems to Apple will cut down to  just 20% next year.

India wearables market shipped 23.8 million units in Q3 2021, records 93.8% YoY growth: IDC

According to the International Data Corporation’s (IDC) quarterly report on the Indian Wearables market, a total of 23.8 million units were shipped during Q3 2021. This includes the shipment of ear wears, wristbands and watches, calculating to a healthy growth of 93.8% YoY.

ECG, Daily Readiness score now available on compatible Fitbit devices in India

Customers of Fitbit fitness trackers in India will now be able to experience more health features on the Fitbit app and their devices. The Fitbit Charge 5 now supports taking ECG readings right from the wrist, the Fitbit app for Premium members supports their Daily Readiness score, and diabetic patients can now track their blood glucose levels through the app.
