HP has finally launched their newly updated OMEN 15 and Pavilion Gaming 16 laptops in India. The OMEN 15 is their top-of-the-line offering with Intel 10th Gen Core CPUs or AMD’s Ryzen 4000 series CPU options and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super with MAX-Q Design. The HP Pavilion Gaming 16 features up to a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti graphics.

India smartphone shipments decline 48% YoY in Q2 2020, 17.3 million units shipped: Report

Q2 2020 has been recorded to be one of the worst periods for the Indian smartphone market as it saw a decline of 48% YoY, shipping a little over 17 million units. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the economy to shut down, leading to both a drop in manufacturing and demand for smartphones in the country. The top 5 companies for Q2 2020 were Xiaomi, Vivo, Samsung, OPPO and realme.

OnePlus may have just accidentally completely revealed the design of their upcoming truly wireless earbuds, called the OnePlus Buds. The leak was spotted from an app called OnePlus Pods that was uploaded onto APKmirror and it shows the OnePlus Buds in three colours, along with the case and the earbuds design itself.

iOS 14 to add 16 new emoji including dodo, Piñata, pinched fingers and more

Back in January 2020, Unicode released their Emoji 13.0, a list of newly approved emoji for companies and platforms to introduce into their own apps and operating systems. Developers usually modify these emoji for their own platforms and now Apple has announced they’ll be adding 16 new emoji with iOS 14 later this year.
