Microsoft held their Xbox Games Showcase yesterday where they revealed a bunch of new games that are slated to release for their Xbox Series X console. These include 10 world premieres, 22 Xbox exclusive titles, like the Halo Infinite, Fable, etc. from 9 Xbox Game Studios and several of their partners.

Twitter records $683 million in revenue; average mDAU of $186 million in Q2 2020

Twitter has released their earnings release for the second quarter of 2020, reporting a growth of 34% YoY in Monetizable Daily Active Usage (mDAU) at $186 million, thanks to the increase in conversation around current global events. Revenue, however, was recorded at $683 million for Q2 2020, which calculates to a decline of 19% compared to the same period last year.

Apple starts production of the iPhone 11 in India

In a move that boosts the “Make in India” initiative, Apple has started producing their flagship smartphone, the iPhone 11, locally in India at the Foxconn plant near Chennai. This was confirmed by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. The iPhone 11 will be joining the iPhone Xr, as one of the two premium phones that Apple assembles in India.

NVIDIA reportedly interested in acquiring stake in ARM

NVIDIA Corp. is reportedly interested in acquiring a stake in the semiconductor designer company known as ARM Ltd, which is currently owned by Softbank Group Corp. According to people with knowledge of the matter, Softbank Group has been looking into selling their stake in ARM, for which there are a few potential bidders and one among them is NVIDIA, according to Bloomberg report.
