LG Optimus 3D Preview

We are lucky to get our hands on the LG Optimus 3D which is the world’s first 3D phone and the world’s first 3D smartphone. The 3D experience does not require you to wear 3D glasses as the phone packs a glassless/glassfree 3D display. Rumor has it that the N950 was supposed to be launched in 2010 as the first MeeGo device but got canned. When you see a preview of all the apps currently running , it shows you the every app’s current state in realtime and not just a screenshot like in some other platforms. For instance the Compass app reacts to movements even when in the Multitasking view. Pretty impressive ! Watch it in action in the video below. Exclusive: Nokia X7 Now Available In India At Rs 22,000

Nokia’s gaming centric handset , the Nokia X7 is now available in India. We spotted a few units at the Priority Dealer where we could take a demo piece for a spin. The X7 comes with  a 4″ AMOLED screen and runs Symbian Anna. The camera is an 8MP EDoF unit. The unit comes with a 8GB microSD card in the package and supports upto 32GB of memory. The phone has been priced at Rs 22,000.

Nokia N9 MeeGo Phone Announced , available later this year

At the Nokia Connection 2011 event in Singapore today , Marko Ahtisaari, Senior Vice President , Design , Nokia introduced the Nokia N9 the first MeeGo phone from the company. The design looks incredibly awesome and we can barely wait to get our hands on it.  The UI works in a swipe based mechanism and uses no physical keys.
