Verizon 4G LTE Trial in Boston

As many of you might know there is a ongoing battle between  LTE (Long Term Evolution) and WiMax which are both 4G(4th Generation) Wireless Standards . HTC EVO 4G Price is $199 Available on June 4

Sprint just tweeted that their CEO Dan Hesse just announced that the HTC EVO 4G will be available on June 4 at a cool price of $199. Sprint is claiming that the EVO 4G can do Mobile Video Chat, Simultaneous Voice and Data and HD Video Capture all over their 4G network.

HTC sues Apple over patents , wants to ban import of iPad, iPhone and iPod into USA

HTC just fired back at Apple’s earlier lawsuit by suing Apple over infringement of  5 HTC patents and the phone maker has filed a complaint with the ITC to ban import of iPad, iPhone and iPod into USA. Interesting turn of events we should say . Now both Nokia and HTC are asking the ITC to ban import of Apple products into America.

Samsung Restore: An Eco Friendly Device

Samsung has announced a new device called “Restore“, a eco-friendly messaging device made from all the Environment Friendly materials.

Apart from being Eco-Friendly, this device sports a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 2 megapixel camera, Music Player, optical navigation key, Bluetooth, Support for microSD card slot of upto 32GB. And keeping in mind the eco-friendliness around the device, the device comes with an Energy Star Version 2.0 rated charger and a Sprint One Click button which gives users quick access to adopt a greener lifestyle.

Also the casing of the device sports 27% of recycled plastic, pretty low levels of PVC, BFRs, Phthalates, Beryllium and the phone is touted to be 84% recyclable on the whole.

Samsung Restore will hit the Sprint stores this summer for $49.99 on a 2 -year contract from Sprint and $50 mail-in rebate.

500000 iPads sold in USA and International launch post-poned by a month

Apple just issued a media advisory today stating that it has sold 500,000 iPads in the first week of its launch. And the bad news is that they have postponed the international launch of the iPad by a month.  So expect the prices of the iPads in the unofficial channels to still be insanely high till May

Microsoft Pink Project becomes Kin – 2 new phones announced

The Microsoft Pink Project is finally official in the form of the Kin phones from Microsoft in a tie up with Sharp. These new phones are called the KIN 1 and KIN 2 and are aimed at the youth with sharing capabilities . The phones are going to be launched in May on Verizon USA’s Network. But we have a feeling it will be available outside the US too.
