On the back of the Galaxy Note 7 explosion saga, the company’s washing machines are in the news for the very same reason. Samsung Electronics and the product safety officials in the United States have announced a recall of about 2.8 million washing machines.
The latest recall is another dent in the South Korean manufacturer’s reputation. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the top of the washing machine could detach during the use, which of course is a big risk for consumer safety. Samsung have stepped forward and admitted that the Galaxy Note7 has an issue with its battery that causes it to explode. They have also issued a recall for the same. However, there has been no warning for users of the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and as a result, Samsung is now facing a lawsuit.
