Milagrow TabTop 7.4 that was launched in May with Android 4.0.3 on-board, is now shipping with Android 4.0.4 that would include lot of new features including Offline email, Face Unlock, File manager and more. 4G LTE BlackBerry PlayBook launching in Canada first on August 9th, others countries in coming months

 

RIM (Research in Motion) has finally announced the 4G LTE BlackBerry PlayBook, after lot of rumors. Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro Preview

At the Mobile Benchmarking Workshop here in San Francisco , Qualcomm showed off it’s next generation Quadcore mobile processor – the Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ 8064) .  And guess what Qualcomm just did not make just a boring announcement about a chipset and that the devices using the chip will be in the market later this year. But , Qualcomm let us use a tablet (prototype obviously ) which uses the new quadcore chip with 4 Krait cores along with the new Adreno 320 GPU. Pantel Technologies has launched T-Pad IS701C, their new tablet running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) 16 million color Multi Touch Capacitive touch screen display with  16:9 aspect ratio and is powered by 1 GHz processor. It has WiFi and supports 2G and 3G via USB Dongles for data connectivity.

INTEX i-Buddy 7-inch tablet running Android 4.0 launched in South India for Rs 6,490

INTEX has launched i-Buddy tablet, their second Android tablet. They launched the iTab, 8-inch Android tablet earlier this March which got a price cut in May. This new INTEX i-Buddy tab has a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by 1 GHz processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and is just 9mm thick. Reliance launches new 3G Android tablet for Rs. 14,499

Reliance Communications has launched Reliance 3G Tab, a new 3G Android tablet, upgraded version of their previous tablet that was launched last year. It is manufactured by ZTE and has 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by 1.4GHz processor. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Zync Z-999 plus 3G Android 4.0 tablet with voice calling launched in India for Rs. 11,990

Zync has launched the Zync Z-999 plus Android tablet in India followed by the Zync Z-990 plus that was launched last month. This tablet has has 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display and has a 3G data connectivity and voice calling through an on-board SIM card slot. It has 1.5 GHz single-core ARM Cortex 8 processor, 0.3 MP video calling camera, 2MP rear-facing camera and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It is just 8mm thick and weighs 340 grams. Zync Z-990 plus 7-inch tablet running Android 4.0 launched in India for Rs. 6,490

Zync has launched the Zync Z-990 plus, successor of the Zync Z-990 that was launched this March. The new tablet has upgraded 1.5 GHz processor with MALI 400 GPU and glossy 7-inch display with similar 800 x 480 pixel resolution. It also has glossy back. Other specs are similar to the previous tablet such as 0.3 MP video calling camera and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Zync has also partnered with Ibibo to offer games in 40 categories including Teen Patti, Rummy, Can you Draw, Speed Wordz, Word War and more that comes pre-loaded in the tablet.
