Pebble has launched Pebble Time Steel, a premium version of Pebble Time on Kickstarter. This has the same design e-paper display and features, but it uses CNC-finished 316L stainless steel case and a larger battery that promises up to 10 days of battery life. Huawei took wraps of latest Android Wear smartwatch at its MWC 2015 press event in Barcelona. The wrist gear from Huawei is a direct competition to LG’s Urbane, but is more compact and has bigger, sharper screen. We had a chance to spend some time with the Huawei Watch and here’s our hands-on report.

Huawei is using cold-forged stainless steel to build its smartwatch. The device has a compact 42mm in diameter casing and is about 11.3mm thick. The wearable is quite light when compared to a regular watch. We are happy to report that there’s no gap between and wrist band and the body unlike the LG Watch Urbane. Huawei just announced Huawei Watch, the company’s first Android Wear smartwatch at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It has a 1.4-inch (400 x 400 pixels) circular AMOLED display with 10,000:1 high contrast ratio offering a fully circular 42mm diameter design, scratch-proof sapphire crystal lens and has cold-forged stainless steel frame. It has built-in heart rate monitor, 6-Axis motion sensors, heart rate monitor and has over 40 watch faces.

Huawei already confirmed that it will be introducing its first Android Wear smartwatch at the MWC this year. It has been teasing the smartwatch on its social channels, now the first images of the smartwatch have been spotted at the Barcelona Airport by TechHive and Android Central. It will be called Huawei Watch and looks exactly like an analog watch in its design.

Apple has started sending invites for its Spring forward event before the Apple Watch goes on sale in April. The event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. The Apple Watch was announced in September last year along with the new iPhones and will come in two different sizes, three different styles – the regular model, a Sport version aimed at active consumers, and an ultra-premium Apple Watch Edition which will be covered in 18-karat gold. LG has announced LG Watch Urbane LTE, few days after it introduced its LG Watch Urbane Android Wear smartwatch with metal build. This has the same 1.3-inch (320 x 320 pixels) P-OLED Display and has metal build, but it runs on LG’s own wearable platform with new UX and not Android Wear. It comes with voLTE voice calling support since it has a speaker and a microphone and also comes with NFC support for easy payments. After its successful Pebble smartwatch that was introduced back in 2012 that raised over $10 million Kickstarter, on Pebble has launched its Pebble Time smartwatch, again exclusively on Kickstarter. The new Pebble Smartwatch comes with a color e-ink display, a new slimmer design and a new software. It even has a microphone that lets you send voice replies for notification on Android apps including SMS, Hangouts, Gmail, Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp and hundreds more. For iOS users, voice replies currently work only for Gmail notifications, but it will be available for more apps in future. LG has announced LG Watch Urbane, the company’s first luxury Android Wear smartwatch with metal build, ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015. The LG Watch Urbane is more formal with a thinner profile and resembles a luxury timepiece, says LG. It has stainless steel body with stitched natural leather strap and the strap can be replaced with any 22mm wide band.
