Huawei Ascend P6 Google Edition reportedly in the works

Huawei unveiled the Ascend P6 earlier this month which is already on sale in China. The Ascend P6 is is the company’s flagship smartphone that features a  4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with new Emotion UI that comes with lot of new features. The Google Play Editions of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One went on sale in the U.S. few days back. Huawei has announced that the company would partner with Google to launch the Google Edition of the Ascend P6 running on stock Android, according to a report from Pocket-lint. Sony Xperia i1 Honami camera phone new images surface

The first blurry image of the Xperia i1 codenamed ‘Honami’ surfaced earlier this month along with the rumored specs, now a clear image of the device has surfaced on a Brazilian website Techtudo. It confirms that the phone would have a 20-megapixel rear camera but it would not come with interchangeable lenses as rumored. The top image shows the Xperia i1 in the center with the Xperia Z Ultra and the Xperia ZQ (Brazilian variant of the Xperia ZL). Apple iPhone 5S prototype with A7 chip surfaces

Apple is expected to release the next iPhone later this year, now a rumored prototype of the device has surfaced online that reveals that the phone might feature the next-gen A7 chip. The Apple iPhone 5 had a A6 chip with and the Apple iPad 4 had a A6X chip that is two times faster than the previous A5X chip. The new chip in the prototype has the model number of APL0698 instead of APL0598 which is the A6 chip in the iPhone 5. The A6X has the model number of APL5598 and the first digit of the model number varies if there is a slight increment and the second digit changes when transitioning to a new family, says Macrumors. First press images of the Micromax Canvas 4 has surfaced online. The phone was first teased by Micromax on their Facebook page. Later videos of the phone appeared on the official Micromax YouTube channel that revealed the design of the phone. It also revealed that the phone would feature a 13-megapixel camera. Screenshots of the upcoming Xperia ZU phablet has surfaced on XDA forum that reveals the home screen and app drawer with small icons. Even though the specifications of the device surfaced last week, the new screenshots confirm that the device would indeed come with a 6.4-inch 1080p display and powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor. iOS 7 game controller for iPhone surfaces

First image of the iPhone controller has surfaced online. Apple announced the support API for 3rd-party MFi game controllers at the end of the iOS 7 demo at the WWDC earlier this month. Kotaku who managed to get an image of the controller reveals that the controller would be made by Logitech. It adds that the controller is large enough to fit an iPhone 5. It also has a lightning port, 4-way controller on the left and D-Pad on the right side. Sony i1 Honami Camera phone leaks in blurry image, rumored specs surface

Sony i1 (codenamed Honami), the company’s upcoming flagship camera phone has been in the news for quite some time.  This would be the first device in Sony’s new philosophy – One Sony strategy announced at the MWC 2012. Now a blurry image of the device has been revealed. Previous rumor revealed that the phone would feature a 1/1.6″ Exmor RS stacked sensor with Sony Cybershot G Lens, the new rumor says that it would feature a 2/3″ or 1/1.5″ sensor. The report also reveals that the phone would come with interchangeable lenses. It also reveals a 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 processor and Android 4.2.2 with a new Xperia UI. Nexus 7 successor surfaces, might feature a Snapdragon 600 processor

A code-named ASUS K009, with the FCC ID code MSQK009 was certified in the U.S last week. The tablet has also surfaced in the Bluetooth SIG listing last week that shows the front part of the tablet in a tiny image. Rumors of the second-gen Nexus 7 surfaced back in April, and Reuters revealed that the tablet would feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor instead of NVIDIA Tegra chip. If this information is to be believed then the fabled Motorola Moto X may turn out to be a rather mid range handset. Sony Xperia ZU images and detailed specs surface

Images of the rumored Sony Xperia Z Ultra or Sony Xperia ZU phablet has surfaced online. Taiwanese website ePrice has posted about the Sony Phablet. The report confirms the 6.4-inch 1080p Triluminos with X-Reality for Mobile display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and stylus support as teased by Sony in the press invite.

HTC Butterfly S images surface, shows dual front-facing speakers

Earlier this week HTC announced that they are  planning to launch the Butterfly S in Taiwan on June 19th. Now the images of the Butterfly S has surfaced from a Chinese website VR-Zone. This reveals a simlar HTC Butterfly Design, but this one has dual front-facing stereo speakers similar to the HTC One and the Desire 600 with BoomSound. According to earlier rumors the Butterfly S is likely to come with 5-icnh 1080p full HD display, Android Jelly Bean OS with Sense 5, Ultrapixel camera and features like HTC Zoe and Blinkfeed. HTC One mini surfaces in a new image

Specifications of the HTC One mini (M4) surfaced first in February earlier this year. Press image of the device surfaced back in May along with the rumored specs. It was caught on camera earlier this month that showed the chin and the bottom part of the device, now the whole front part of the device have been revealed in an image from Engadget. It confirms that the device is indeed the M4 and would come with a 4.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display and powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor. Samsung to announce mirrorless Galaxy Camera 2 at the June 20th event?


Samsung is rumored to unveil the Galaxy Camera 2, successor of the Galaxy Camera at the June 20th event in London, according to a recent report from a Korean publication Digital Daily. Alleged image taken from the Galaxy Camera 2 surfaced recently that revealed the model number as EK-GN120 and hinted a 20.9-megapixel sensor. The model number of the Galaxy Camera is EK-GC100 and it came with a 17MP camera sensor that is capable of shooting 16.3MP images. Huawei had been teasing the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone on their official Facebook page for over a week, now the popular Twitter user evleaks have leaked the specifications of the device. Images of the phone leaked back in May. The device would reportedly come with a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, 4 cm macro which takes macro shots closer than most of the smartphone cameras, 5-megapixel front-facing camera with face enhance option and a new Emotion UI. Samsung Galaxy Note Tablet with 12.2-inch 2560×1600 display rumored for Q3 2013

Samsung is prepping for a Galaxy Note tablet with a 12.2-inch (2560×1600 pixels) display, according to a recent report from Korean website ET News. It adds that Samsung Display and Sharp will supply about 2.5 million 12.2-inch panels equipped with IGZO (Indum-Gallium Zinc Oxide) technology to Samsung Electronics for the device. The tablet is also expected to come with the S Pen stylus that usually come with the Galaxy Note 10.1.  We don’t have the complete specifications of the tablet yet.
