Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime with 5MP front-facing camera surfaces

Live images of Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime (SM-G530H), the company’s selfie-focused smartphone has surfaced on a Vietnamese website Thegioididong. According to the leak, the mid-range smartphone would feature a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for capturing better selfies. It would also have an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. HTC could announce the Nexus 9 during the October 8th event
A lot a manufacturers schedule their events around the IFA that happens during this time of the year, but often not during the event is happening. This is a ploy that they employ so that their devices get due exposure.

Speaking of exposure, HTC has an event for October 8th, titled ‘double exposure’. Now that could mean anything in the world, but thanks to HTC being a smart devices maker, we have a limited list to choose from. The event is believed to be coincident with the announcement of the HTC Eye smartphone, the one that’s expected to feature a 5.2-inch display and a Snapdragon 801 processor. HTC’s tryst with unique rear-camera tech (read: UltraPixel, Duo Camera) might soon come to end with the latest announcement that’s due in some days.

‘HTC Eye’ is what the new device shall call itself. Eye… hmmm, there’s certainly going to be emphasis on imaging tech on the device, something that the invitation flyer revealed too, a couple of days back. Meizu MX4 Pro purported specifications appear online

China’s Meizu only announced their latest flagship (or so we think), the MX4 less than a week back at an event in Beijing. The octa-core MT6595 device was announced with some interesting tech — including a 5.4-inch 5:3 display and a 20.7 mega-pixel Sony sensor — for a Chinese equivalent of just about US$293. Sony E-Mount camera for smartphones leaked ahead of IFA launch

At the time of announcing its IFA 2014 event, Sony teased a new smartphone camera lens. Today images of the ILCE-QX1 E-mount camera has surfaced online ahead of the official event tomorrow. It is an E-mount camera module with interchangeable Alpha lenses, unlike the QX10 and QX100 camera lenses that were unveiled at IFA last year.
