Press render of the Moto Z2 Play surfaced last month, and the specifications of the smartphone were revealed by @evleaks earlier this month. Now the smartphone has been certified by China’s TENAA confirming the specifications and also reveals the model number as XT1710. Lenovo even confirmed that the smartphone will have a 3000mAh battery in tweet to a user, compared to 3510mAh battery on the Moto Z Play. Press render of the Moto Z2 Play surfaced a few weeks back showing off its metal design, fingerprint sensor on the front and dual-tone LED flash for the front camera. Thanks to @evleaks, we now have the specifications of the phone. According to the leak, the phone is expected to pack the same 5.5-inch 1080p display, but the battery will be reduced from 3510mAh to 3000mAh, which is a bummer since the battery life on the Moto G5 Plus with the same display size and battery is not impressive when compared to the Z Play.
Huawei smartphones with model numbers PIC-AL00, PIC-TL00, BAC-AL00 and BAC-TL00 have been certified by TENAA in China. These are expected to be Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus, successors of Nova and Nova Plus smartphones that were unveiled last year. The image shows the phones in Rose Gold colors with 2.5D curved glass display, unibody metal design, dual rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Even though we can’t expect Surface Book 2 or Surface Pro 5, the company is expected to introduce a Surface Laptop running Windows 10 S at the event. Lenovo’s ZUK Mobile is reportedly shutting down after two years, according to Chinese analyst Pan Jiutang, who revealed this when a weibo user @Old Cool mentioned that ZUK will not reveal Z3 smartphone as the successor to ZUK Z2.
