Motorola finally showed off the Moto 360 at Google I/O few hours back. The Moto 360 was announced earlier this year and is powered by Android Wear. Motorola already confirmed that it is water resistant, compatible with Android devices running Android 4.3 or later and uses Bluetooth 4.0 LE to connect to them. LG was one of the first manufacturers to announce a Smartwatch based on Android Wear, but yesterday, at the Google I/O developers conference, the device was made available for sale, making it the first Android Wear Smartwatch in the market along with the Samsung Gear live. This being LG’s first watch, unlike Samsung, the approach, although bland, is a bit different. Priced at $229 in the US and Rs. 14,999 in India, where it is currently on pre-order, the LG G watch makes for an interesting first look at the Android Wear ecosystem. Samsung Gear Live Photo Gallery

Samsung, though not part of the initial list of partners associated with Android Wear, surprised everyone by announcing the Gear Live yesterday, which has already gone on sale in the US today, and is no on pre-order in India, for a price of Rs. 15, 900. Following the design philosophy of its other Gear devices, this Android Wear based Smartwatch will be sold along with the LG G watch. Both the Korean giants have their own first Android Wear based Smartwatches out, but lets focus on the Gear live here, which adds the unique functionality to measure heart rate using the hear rate sensor on its back. It looks and feels pretty similar to the other Gear watches, unsurprisingly, so lets take a photo walkthrough of this device, straight from the I/O developer event in San Francisco.

Asus unveiled an upgraded version of the Fonepad 7  (FE375CG) earlier this week at Computex 2014 in Taipei. We got to check out the tablet at the event show floor earlier this week. The first Fonepad 7 had a dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor and the Fonepad 7 Dual SIM that was launched in India had a dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor, but this one has a faster quad-core Intel Atom Z3560 processor. At the Computex 2014 event held in Taipei, Asus announced successors to the MeMO Pad 7 and MeMO Pad 8. The Asus MeMO Pad 7 wasn’t much of an update, but the MeMO Pad 8 was updated with a better Full HD display and internal specifications overhaul. We managed to get our hands on both the updated Asus MeMO Pad 7 and Asus MeMO Pad 8 and we shot a photo gallery comparing the two MeMO Pads.

Asus made a lot of announcements at Computex 2014 event that was held in Taipei and the refreshed Asus MeMO Pad 7 was among the them. Asus announced the upgraded MeMO Pad 7 after an year and in terms of specifications, there isn’t much change except for the fact that the MediaTek processor in the yesteryear model has been replaced by a powerful Intel Atom Z3745 SoC in the latest generation.

New Asus MeMO Pad 8 Photo Gallery

At the Computex 2014 event in Taipei, Asus announced a lot of products and among those, is the upgraded Asus MeMO Pad 8. The new Asus MeMO Pad 8 is an upgrade over the yesterday product of the same name. The successor – New Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a very worthy upgrade over the original with a Full HD display, an Intel Atom Z3580 SoC with 2GB RAM, 16GB Internal storage and a microSD card slot. The new MeMO Pad 8 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

Acer Liquid Jade Photo Gallery

Acer announced the higher mid-range Android smartphone – Acer Liquid Jade at the Computex 2014 event in Taipei. The phone comes bundled with Acer Liquid Leap fitness band in certain markets. The Acer Liquid Jade seems to be the exact combination of the mid-range smartphone being powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor and a 720p HD 5inch screen.

Acer Liquid Z200 Hands On and Photo Gallery

Acer unveiled the Liquid Z200, an entry-level smartphone last week ahead of Computex 2014. We got to check out the device that was on display on the show floor. The 4-inch WVGA display has limited viewing angles but the build quality is pretty good. The phone is powered by a dual-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1 GHz and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box, which is pretty good for an entry-level phone. Check out the hands-on below.
